Los Tarantos: Traditional Flamenco Show in Barcelona
Barcelona, Los Tarantos — Main Hall
About the Event
Los Tarantos, set on Barcelona's elegant Plaça Reial, in the heart of the Old Town, is the city's oldest tablao, or traditional performance space for the art of flamenco, recognised by UNESCO in 2010 as a World Heritage treasure.
Flamenco is thought to have its roots in the intertwining of several distinct cultures in the Andalusia region, during the Moorish occupation of Spain. Evolving over the centuries, the art now encompasses sung and instrumental music, and of course the proud, vivid dance tradition that has become emblematic of Spain.
With a proud history of hosting both the most important names and the most exciting new talent in flamenco, Los Tarantos offers guests an enthralling insight into the art form, with the option to add a meal, drink, or even a flamenco workshop to the experience.
