Dont miss this performance of 'The Four Seasons' by Antonio Vivaldi in the atmospheric 17th century church of St James Piccadilly built by Christopher Wren. Lorraine McAslan, described as 'spellbinding' by The Daily Telegraph, will be the solo violinist. She will be accompanied by her dazzling ensemble London Octave in this richly varied programme which includes Handel's Arrival of the Queen of Sheba besides gems by Bach and Mozart.
The outstanding ensemble London Octave (director Dietrich Bethge) was formed from London’s leading musicians in 2000. Since then they have performed over 150 concerts, not only for their audience’s, but also for their own enjoyment. They have appeared on BBC radio, toured abroad and made several CD’s.
