Liszt Coronation Mass: Budapest Spring Festival

About the Event

Liszt composed the Coronation Mass for the crowning ceremony of Emperor Franz Joseph I as King of Hungary in 1867. The Austrian‐Hungarian Haydn Philharmonie performs the triumphant work at the Budapest Spring Festival, together with the Vienna State Opera Chorus and illustrious soloists.
