About the Event

Music is not really a match, but in this case we'll let the rankings do the talking: In April 2022, the Leonkoro Quartet won 1st prize at the prestigious Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition in London as well as nine (!) special prizes — and they were the youngest quartet in the competition! Just one month later, the ensemble won the International String Quartet Competition in Bordeaux. Numerous other awards followed, so it quickly became clear to us: We have to introduce this quartet to you!
