Kammerakademie Potsdam, Magdalena Kozena, Vaclav Luks
Berlin, Philharmonie Berlin — Kammermusiksaal
About the Event
Since its foundation in 2000, the Kammerakademie Potsdam has been characterized by electrifying musical experiences, diverse programmes and an unconditional commitment to the highest artistic quality. With great passion and unbridled curiosity, the ensemble moves through four centuries of music history and has earned a reputation far beyond the city and state borders. As a cultural ambassador for Potsdam and Brandenburg, the ensemble performs in international concert halls and at well‐known festivals — and in the 2024/25 season, it will give three concerts in the Chamber Music Hall and one concert in the main hall of the Berlin Philharmonie.
In December, the orchestra and mezzo‐soprano Magdalena Kožená will embark on a journey through Italian opera literature by Haydn, Mysliveček and Mozart with overtures, arias and scenes — linked by symphonies by the last two composers.
