Immerse yourself in the stunning architecture of Berlin Schöneberg's Apostel Paulus Kirche for the ultimate concert set to awake your understanding of gospel music.
When the Schöneberger streets around the magnificent brick building of the Apostel‐Paulus‐Kirche shine festively again, the famous Golden Gospel Pearls open their Christmas concert season. Under the direction of Donna Brown, they brought the gospel to Berlin in the early 90s and have remained faithful to the city and church ever since. The gifted singers, a bassist, a drummer and Donna Brown on piano draw from a wide repertoire. With their soulful voices they spread gospel flair with interpretations of 'Amazing Grace', 'Mary Had A Baby', 'Come and Adore Him' and their own Christmas medleys.
To this day, the gospel movement continues to exert a positive force, which can be felt in this show through the perfect singing. So you can experience unique, devout and at the same time exuberant performances in the Apostel‐Paulus‐Kirche. This wave full of emotions and happiness takes you into a joyful Christmas mood.
Practical Information
Please note that on Saturdays and on 25.12. and 26.12. the concert will be held 2 times a day.
