Golden anniversary for German Brass! The ensemble has been uniting top musicians for five decades now. In their inimitable interplay, they offer unique, unrivaled musical enjoyment and switch musical styles with astonishing ease. Thanks to their outstanding virtuosity, incomparable arrangements and fine feel for the individual sound characteristics of a piece, German Brass has played a decisive role in shaping brass culture over the decades.
In Advent 2024, German Brass will present its new musical Christmas program as part of the “50 Years Anniversary Tour”, with which the ensemble will also make a guest appearance in the Chamber Music Hall. The exceptional musicians promise the audience a musical experience in a class of its own, entertaining, with a great deal of enthusiasm and at the very highest musical level.
In addition to Christmas sounds from all over the world, festive and classical melodies by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, George Frideric Handel and Peter I. Tchaikovsky unfold in the symphonic splendor and unique dynamics of German Brass.
