About the Event
Gabriela Montero will perform with the Prague Symphony for the first time! The Venezuelan native is known for her diverse range of performance skills and her ability to captivate the keyboard with brilliant passages and soulful lyricism. She will be able to use all of this in Prokofiev's Third Piano Concerto, which reflects the composer's own pianistic skill, superb technique and emotional expression, spanning from an energetic and extroverted position to a poetic and inwardly focused plane. Gabriela and the orchestra will be conducted by our great friend Petr Altrichter, so we are delighted that he has chosen to include gems of Czech music by Antonín Dvořák. Together we will then head to the UK for a tour with all the gems.
