About the Event

The outstanding violist, composer and FOK member Tomáš Krejbich is also part of another remarkable ensemble. The acronym V4 stands for nothing less than the Visegrad Four, the musical equivalent of a political grouping that brings together top musicians from Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland. The cultural interconnection of the countries naturally influences the ensemble's repertoire. Hence Antonín Dvořák, hence Mieczysław Weinberg. That's why Andrej Nemes will provide the artistic accompaniment. He was born in Hungary, spent his childhood in Slovakia, the First Republic in Prague and the rest of his life in Scandinavia.

At the beginning of the concert you can look forward to a lecture by the educator on the painting:
Andrej Nemes: The Composer, 1938 lecturer: Monika Švec
