Experience an enchanting evening of jazz at a concert featuring the talented Alma Naidu and her ensemble, blending elements of jazz, pop, and soul. Renowned singer and composer Alma Naidu, raised in a musically vibrant Munich home, has become a pivotal figure in Germany's jazz landscape. Praised by the Süddeutsche Zeitung as “one of the greatest vocal talents in the country,” Alma has clinched accolades like the “BMW Welt Young Artist Jazz Award” and the “Kurt Maas Jazz Award.” Her debut album soared to the top 10 on the German jazz charts in 2022. A classical and jazz‐trained artist discovered by the multi‐award‐winning “ECHO Jazz” recipient Wolfgang Haffner, Alma has been captivating audiences across various concert venues with her band. During her performance at Jazzclub Tonne, Alma will introduce her second studio album set for release in spring 2025. This upcoming album, featuring only original work, weaves together jazz, pop, soul, and cinematic sounds, addressing powerful themes such as equality, role models, and intimate reflections on home and love.
