About the Event
María Dueñas, a twenty‐two‐year‐old girl from Granada, is a rising star in the international violin scene. She has a dynamic personality and enjoys listening to a variety of music, from Rosalía to trap music. In addition to playing the violin, María also loves writing and collaborating with other musicians. She has studied with Boris Kuschnir in Vienna and has achieved success in prestigious competitions like Tretyakov, Menuhin, BBC, and Spivakov. Recently, she performed Max Bruch's first violin Concerto with Paavo Järvi and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen in Bologna, showcasing her exquisite and beautiful sound.
