Pablo Heras‐Casado will conduct the Prologue of one of the most ambitious project of the history of the arts in a new production by Calixto Bieito.
Wagner's words in a letter to Franz Liszt capture the essence of his accomplishment in composing Das Rheingold: 'No one has ever composed like this.' A prologue to three days of the Ring, The Rhine Gold conveys the pitiless fight between the gods and the dwarves to control both the gold and the world.
