About the Event

“Fair to cloudy” is the motto of this highly enjoyable new opera series by Katharina J.A. Gebauer. Each performance has a carefully selected guest, with whom the popular soprano, together with the soloist, illuminates the world of opera with a wink, but always at the highest level.
She is accompanied on the grand piano by Wolfgang Fritzsche, who is considered a luminary in his field.
Stefan Cerny is one of those rare, highly sought‐after basses. Katharina J.A. Gebauer will give him the opportunity to show himself from his best side and present her special guest in a witty and entertaining way.
Established as the smallest theater in Austria, the recitals and opera performances impress with their high quality and unusual venue. Located deep below St. Peter's Church in Vienna, the crypt offers a personal, intense classical music experience.
