About the Event

“Fair to cloudy” is the motto of this highly enjoyable new opera series by Katharina J.A. Gebauer. Each performance has a carefully selected guest, with whom the popular soprano, together with the soloist, illuminates the world of opera with a wink, but always at the highest level.
She is accompanied on the grand piano by Wolfgang Fritzsche, who is considered a luminary in his field.
The Viennese audience favorite Florian Pejrimovsky impresses with a large repertoire. At OPER in the KRYPTA, he wrote opera history as the exceptional Scarpia.

Established as Austria's smallest theater, the song recitals and opera performances impress with their high quality and unusual venue.

Located deep below St. Peter's Church in Vienna, the crypt offers a personal, intense classical music experience.
The temperature in the crypt is pleasant in every season.
