Summer Night Concerts: Budapest Klezmer Band

Enjoy this "Summer Night Concert" of the Budapest Klezmer Band at the Hilton Dominican Court in Budapest.

The seven member orchestra founded and led by Ferenc Jávori „Fegya” has been the guest of the Summer Night Concerts at the Hilton Dominican Court since 2003. The orchestra by now has a great Hungarian and foreign audience who welcomes the traditional style of klezmer music as well as the „excursions” to other genres such as ballet and musical, documentary and entertaining films.

This year’s performance offers a light summer evening entertainment with the well‐known and beloved numbers, the most popular songs from Purim and Wedding Dance, as well as excerpts from their brand new music drama, the Ghetto.



 

An important goal of this festive summer concert is the popularisation of Hungarian music culture, the quality entertainment of the audience and the introduction of foreign guests to Budapest.

Entry via the main entrance of Hilton Hotel

Gate opening at 8 p.m.

Concert at 8:30 p.m.


The audience is greeted with a glass of champaign upon arrival. 
The seats will be taken in order of arrival.
 During the intermission the hotel bar offers refreshments while looking at the magnificent view of Budapest from above.

In bad weather or rain the concert shall take place in the Ballroom of the hotel.
