About the Event

Les Musiciens du Louvre have been greatly involved in the French rediscovery of Baroque music, and over the years they have become one of the best, most inventive ensembles among those that embrace historical performance practices. Works by Mozart and Bach will be performed under the baton of Marc Minkowski.

They have earned success worldwide with productions of the works of Händel, Purcell, Rameau, Haydn and Mozart. Whilst broadening their repertoire, the orchestra have been careful to promote 19th‐century French composers, such as Berlioz, Bizet, Offenbach and Fauré. Led by Marc Minkowski, the ensemble have been established in Grenoble since 1996.
