MacMillan's Song of the Earth: Estonian National Opera Ballet

About the Event

MacMillan's ballet is danced to Mahler's symphonic song cycle, "Song of the Earth", at the Estonian National Opera.

MacMillan himself describes his work as follows: "A man and a woman; death takes the man; they both return to her and at the end of the ballet, we find that in death there is the promise of renewal."
