István Várdai plays Dvořák in Budapest

About the Event

An exciting opportunity to experience an entire evening of orchestral works with a young star cellist.

Tonight's soloist, István Várdai, was born in 1985, and is already on the faculty of the Kronberg Academy, which Rostropovich called "the capital of the cello".

From Bruch's lyrical and expressive "Kol Nidrei" to Dvořák's famous B minor concerto, by way of Tchaikovsky, this is sure to be a worthwhile evening for any fan of the cello.
