Ben Becker reads from Paul Celan's 'Mohn und Gedächtnis' (Poppy and Memory), one of the greatest collections of German postwar poetry. The renowned 'Death Fuge', is considered a key poem of the 20th century. Clarinetist Giora Feidman has masterfully set the poems to melodies that underline the melancholy and intensity of Celan's work.
