Escape to the dreamworld of Benjamin Britten's spellbinding opera at the Aix‐en‐Provence Festival. In Britten's interpretation of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", each world is differentiated by unique musical material.

Robert Carsen's phenomenally successful production returns to its birthplace, the courtyard of the Archeveché, where the summer nights are Provençal.
