St Mary le Strand, often dubbed the 'Jewel' of the Strand, hosts the third Strand International Piano Series, following its highly successful launch in the 2022‐23 season. This London venue, known for its intimate setting, features stunning architecture, superb acoustics, and a newly acquired Steinway concert grand piano. This year's series theme is Debussy's Preludes. Written between 1909 and 1913, these works highlight Debussy's innovative style and mastery of impressionistic piano techniques. Spanning two books, each comprising twelve pieces, the preludes demonstrate Debussy's talent for creating vivid imagery, moods, and atmospheres through music.

Andrew Zolinsky, first prize winner of the San Francisco International Piano Concerto Competition, enriches the series with his performances. His impressive collaborations include concerts with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra, Sinfonia 21, and the New London Orchestra. Zolinsky has worked alongside notable conductors such as Diego Masson, Martyn Brabbins, Nicholas Cleobury, Ronald Corp, and Simon Joly. His solo work has been featured on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM, as well as on German, Czech, and Irish radio stations.
