About Amanda Cook
Hailed as “The guitar queen with a silken touch” by The Independent, Amanda has graced venues as a soloist across the USA, South America, and Europe. In the UK, she has performed at the South Bank, Wigmore Hall, St George’s Bristol, King’s Place, and The Sage Gateshead. Her acclaimed performances are renowned for their delicate musicality, seamless technique, and captivating presence. Amanda's initial guitar teacher was Alexander Levtov, with whom she studied for seven years from the age of 7. She continued her studies with Charles Ramirez at the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music as a scholarship student, and further pursued her music degree at the RCM as a Foundation Scholar under the tutelage of Mr. Ramirez, Jakob Lindberg, and Gary Ryan.
