About the Event
Conductor Diego Ceretta and cellist Enrico Bronzi will be performing a program that includes Schumann’s Cello Concerto, Brahms’ First Symphony, and a modern composition by Fabio Massimo Capogrosso. Schumann and Brahms, two giants of 19th‐century German music, with Brahms famously taking on the legacy passed down by Schumann. Brahms' Symphony No. 1, often referred to as "Beethoven's Tenth," will be conducted by Diego Ceretta. Preceding the symphony is Schumann's serene Cello Concerto, to be performed by the versatile musician Enrico Bronzi. The program will also feature Fabio Massimo Capogrosso's Impressioni surrealiste, a piece from 2018.
