Frederic Chopin Gala at Philharmonie Berlin
Berlin, Philharmonie Berlin — Kammermusiksaal
About the Event
Step back into history and experience the grandeur of piano music at the beautiful Philharmonie Berlin in Berlin.
Pianist, soloist and chamber musician Mogilevsky impresses with his individual interpretations of classical pieces as well as his emotional and captivating concert performances. Hailed by the press as an overwhelming, congenial virtuoso and Liszt successor, he repeatedly presents exciting original arrangements.
The pianist dedicates an entire evening to the pieces of Frédéric Chopin and presents a variety of brilliant waltzes, nocturnes and polonaises.
His concert programs stand out due to their fresh momentum and the lack of predetermined patterns. They always reflect interesting concepts and ideas. Constantly searching for sophisticated rarities, Mogilevsky not only plays the typical classical standard repertoire, but also brings unknown works by great composers to new life.
Vladimir Mogilevsky was born in Moscow, his talent was fostered early on, so that at the age of eight he was already performing pieces at renowned festivals.
