Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen: Music makes you happy — and saves the world at Philharmonie Berlin
Berlin, Philharmonie Berlin — Kammermusiksaal
About the Event
Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen opens his practice for one evening in the Chamber Music Hall. The doctor, presenter, cabaret artist and writer is also the founder of the “Healthy Earth — Healthy People” foundation and has taken up the cause of climate protection in terms of health protection. His new program is about perhaps the oldest and most natural medicine in the world — music.
Together with pianist Christoph Reuter and violinist Mareike Neumann, he combines classical music with cabaret, gives free rein to happiness hormones through harmonies and relies on the goosebump effect: Bach and Beethoven have a soothing effect, while he shares his thoughts on the state of the planet with the audience: “Man, Earth! We could have it so nice.” A doctor's appointment not to be missed.
