MEAM invites you to experience a series of exclusive “unplugged” concerts as part of the Sunday Sounds series, showcasing diverse musical genres ranging from indie to flamenco fusion, and from tango to pop. Dive into a unique auditory journey where, as is traditional at MEAM, music intertwines with art and history.
Fusing tradition with personal authenticity, through this project Ana Lorenzo seeks to express her most sincere way of feeling flamenco, without prejudice or limitations but always with a deep respect for its origins and its roots, where emotion and honesty become the soul of each note.
The repertoire moves through the traditional flamenco styles, with her own compositions that bear the personal stamp of the singer. In addition, a more modern‐inspired piece is included in which she dialogues with other styles.
In this concert, the singing of Ana Lorenzo and the guitar of Federico Vannini come together in an intimate format, without artifice, to offer a raw and authentic interpretation, playing with the visual and emotional aesthetics of the show, providing the listener with the feeling corresponding to each lyric and melody. The honesty of the performance and the authenticity of the proposal are essential, as the aim is not only technical perfection, but also an emotional connection with the audience. In that moment we will understand the truth of feeling.
