The double concerto for two pianos by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, who worked in Leipzig for many years, takes center stage, framed by the rarely performed “Blumine” by Gustav Mahler and Dvořák's fairytale Eighth Symphony — the waltz alone is worth the concert visit!
