About the Event
The Brahmstage are an institution in Baden‐Baden: Every year, the composer, who spent many summers in Lichtental and wrote numerous masterpieces there, is celebrated. The focus is always on chamber music — it was so important to Brahms that he even conceived of his symphonies as chamber music. In the current program, young artists play Brahms' early piano quintet, which is one of his most personal works. This will be followed by Schubert's famous “Trout Quintet”.
Program
- Johannes Brahms – Klavierquartett c‐Moll op. 60
