Alina Ibragimova plays Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto

Star violinist Alina Ibragimova returns to Amsterdam with the European Union Youth Orchestra and Tchaikovsky's heady Violin Concerto. Hungarian conductor Iván Fischer, musical director of the orchestra since 2024, also leads Stravinsky's enchanting The Firebird, about the struggle between good and evil.

She returns to The Concertgebouw with Tchaikovsky's impressive Violin Concerto with its exuberant final movement.

The European Union Youth Orchestra unites young talents from all European member states in one orchestra. Together with leading conductors and soloists, they tour the world's most beautiful concert halls. Conducted by Iván Fischer, the orchestra is coming to Amsterdam this summer with Stravinsky's colorful music for the ballet The Firebird.
