Andrej Hermlin and his Swing Dance Orchestra have created a beautiful, romantic Christmas revue with their program 'Christmas in Swing', which has no equal in this country. Famous American Christmas melodies resound in original arrangements of the 1930s, 40s and 50s — authentically played, as not otherwise from this orchestra. Look forward to soloists Rachel and David Hermlin and melodies such as 'Winter Wonderland,' 'Let It Snow,' 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,' 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town' and, of course, 'White Christmas.' One of the highlights of this concert is undoubtedly 'Jingle Bells' in a spectacular original arrangement by the Glenn Miller — Band. 'Christmas in Swing' is a revue — with (in our times unfortunately rare) snow, light effects, a sleigh — and of course the only true and real Santa Claus.
