Aurora Orchestra and Abel Selaocoe
Berlin, Konzerthaus Berlin — Großer Saal
About the Event
Catch the mesmerizing performance by the Aurora Orchestra, under the baton of Nicholas Collon, featuring the multi‐talented cellist and singer Abel Selaocoe, alongside percussionist Bernhard Schimpelsberger. They’ll bring to life Selaocoe’s 'Four Spirits' and enchant with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7.
We’re thrilled to host the return of South African virtuoso Abel Selaocoe, following his acclaimed show last spring with the Bantu Ensemble and “Ancestral Memories”. Known for his masterful cello play and haunting overtone singing in Umngqokolo, Selaocoe is set to deliver another soul‐stirring performance. This season, he joins forces with the innovative Aurora Orchestra, renowned for their inventive approach to classical and contemporary music, featuring both “Four Spirits” and the timeless vigor of Beethoven’s Seventh.
