The Church of St. Michael (Belvarosi Szent Mihály Templom) on Vaci Street was built in the mid‐1700’s and boasts one of the most spectacular main altars in Budapest. It was a very good evening. The ensemble was excellent, but the guest soloist, Gyula, Gabora, playing Vivaldi's Winter and Gloria, was below par and his violin was out of tune. He tried several times to retune and pull out the loose strands of horse hair from his bow, but it didn't help much. But, still most enjoyable.
